Dear Jessica Brennan,

There is much fear, unrest and anger filling our beloved country. So, I asked a few readers to tell me in one word, how the state of the country and our capital is making them feel.

The question was not posed in a way that would sway them to a particular side of an argument that seems to bring with it more sides every day. 

Here are the words that were sent to me:

Because no one sent me any words that I would want to use to describe my country, I put together a list of opposite words to those I received.

Interestingly, that list painted a picture of Canada that I not only want but that I recognize.
